Anti-Poverty?

The problem with the so-called anti-poverty framework is that no one takes responsibility. Under this framework, poverty is targeted as the problem without pointing out the root cause or causes. It is as if poverty just fell from nowhere and became a problem. We know better, don’t we?

It is good to work for the eradication, or at least, the alleviation of poverty. But we must begin by letting the poor understand why they are poor. For sure, there is shared responsibility all over the place; both external and internal.
