Who was it who said, “We will crush the communist insurgency in the Philippines in two years”! And then, went on to deal with true-blue communists who rule Communist China. Result? A multi-billion contract with ZTE, a company run by Chinese communists, was signed last April. It will be paid for by generations of Filipinos who will shoulder the burden of paying the loan extended by the Chinese COMMUNISTS.
The contract was called off? Was it because it was NBN? Meaning, Na-Bisto-Na (Already exposed)! But opposition congresswomen & men said there are some 30 or more of such contracts entered into by “communist crushers” with Chinese Communists.
What then is the real score, shall we crush the communists? Or, do we have lots of "crushes" among Chinese communists because they give us millions or billions in terms of bribes?
Meanwhile, Filipino leftist activists, communist or not, continue to be killed because of that program to crush communism in the Philippines in two years. But is communism really that bad? If so, then why are we engaging in billions of dollars of contracts and loans with them?
